The Gathering
I have spoken a lot about woodland photography and the need for central characters. In this one to me it is a gathering of trees. I was first attracted to the small beach tree on the bottom right but the old withered oaks added something special. I can imagine them all having a conversation about the approaching winter… ha ha.

This image is printed on Fotospeed NST bright White 315gsm paper. It is part of a limited edition of 50 in A3, 10 in A2 and 5 in A1. It looks incredible when printed big as it was taken with my Nikon Z7 45MP camera. Interestingly this was shot on an exposure of 10s, showing just how calm the leaves were.
