My 2019 Portfolio Images

Selecting my portfolio images for a year is always one of my favourite things to do. I love looking back and reminiscing but also enjoy the process of selecting the best photos that were the highlight of the last twelve months. What a year it was, without doubt the more prolific since I started photography and one that I doubt I will repeat easily.

So here they are (you will need to click the image to see the full size in some of them).

As some have sold out or were included in the ‘big thanks from me’ offer they are not all available as prints. Where they are then you can click on them to order.

Faroe Sea Stack

This is such a stunning location and requires a long hike to reach so is all the more pleasing reward. I love this image as it reminds me that to produce something stunning you don’t always need stunning light. The light compliments the scene and helps to create a simplictic yet powerful photo of the Faroe Island sea stacks.

Summer Sunset, Haystacks

This is the complete opposite of the previous image and one that I will remember for a long time. The diagonal created from the light makes the composition. This image means a lot as it is from my favourite place in the Lake District for hiking. I can feel the atmosphere created by the setting sun as I write this description.
